The problem

Constraints
Privileged client material cannot be processed by an external AI provider. Access must follow matter permissions, meeting recordings must follow the firm's retention procedures, and nothing drafted by the assistant can be used without a lawyer's review.
What we deployed
A Business AI server inside the firm, with access tied to matters. It summarizes and organizes case files, links each factual claim to its supporting document, builds timelines, compares contract versions and structures due diligence findings. A local meeting assistant turns permitted recordings into draft minutes and action points.
Outcome
Lawyers start a new matter with an organized overview of the evidence, a timeline and a list of what is missing, each item linked to the original document. Contract comparisons and due diligence lists arrive ready for legal review. Meeting notes are drafted on the firm's own server and checked before they go into the case file.
